Alexis Establet é a raridade da herdade, pois é em anos excecionais que produzimos este cuvée, que é a nobreza do Grand Tinel. Vindo das terras de Gardiole, este lote de parcelas, com mais de 100 anos se beneficia de um solo sílico-argiloso com seixos rolados, trazendo requinte e força.

Apresenta um nariz muito expressivo e complexo de cereja preta, baunilha, mocca, groselha preta madura, pimenta preta e páprica. Na boca é um vinho concentrado, encorpado e generoso. Os taninos estão presentes e o comprimento na boca é significativo.

Decantar 1 hora antes de servir.

Solo: pedra calcária e solos aluviais
Vinificação: temperaturas são controladas ao longo da fermentação alcoólica

The 2016 Chateauneuf du Pape Cuvee Alexis Establet is pure Grenache raised in a combination of foudres, demi-muids and new barriques. It’s a richer, more powerful wine than the regular bottling, weighing in at 16% alcohol, yet it never seems hot, just big, plush and velvety. Subtle notes of cocoa and pencil shavings frame cherry and spice flavors in this seamless blend of fruit and oak. Sexy stuff! Jancis Robinson: Loads of sweet vanilla and spice on the nose, and firm, furry tannin on the palate. The oak hasn’t integrated into the fruit, even though there is plenty of both. Tough texture on the palate. No question about the intensity here, but it makes for quite hard work.
